5 Steps to a New IKEA Kitchen

Step 1: Planning service (homeowners can choose to do their own measuring and planning)

- Depending on the requirements of your project, our owner/contractor and/or our professional kitchen designer meet with you onsite to discuss your ideas and requirements and to find out what services you need and want.
- Our team inspects your kitchen and takes all required measurements.
- Our designer designs your new kitchen. We consult with you and revise as needed.
- We provide you with 3D views of the proposed design, the plan file itself, .installation schematic with all measurements, and an IKEA “shopping list” that details the cost of the layout.
- We provide you with a detailed installation/remodeling bid.
- Once the plan is finalized, we provide IKEA order forms, making ordering simple.
- Our team continues to provide any needed assistance so that you can confidently move forward.
Step 2: Placing your order
- You place your order at IKEA. Our designer will help you if questions arise.
- IKEA provides a delivery date.
- You call to schedule your installation. We coordinate with other contractors if needed.
Step 3: Demo service
- Demolition: Remove any existing countertops, cabinets, fixtures, and/or flooring. Move appliances.
Step 4: Installing your kitchen
Pre-Installation
- Floor preparation, if needed.
- Wall preparation, if needed.
- Plumbing and/or electrical work can be done at this point
Installation
- Cabinet assembly and installation
- Countertop installation (We install IKEA and other brands of formica, laminate and butcher block-type wood countertops only. For granite and other heavy material countertops, we will coordinate with your countertop company because your base cabinets need to be in place for the countertop template to be made.)
- Appliance installation
- Sink and faucet installation
- Accessories installation
- Lighting installation
- Flooring installation (can be done before or after cabinets are installed)
Step 5: Project completion
- Final touch up, cleanup and completion!
